Optional Domain Setup
£29.99 + domain registration cost
You approve the exact domain and registration cost before we buy anything. Haymaker then arranges the purchase, DNS setup and connection to your finished website.
Already have a domain?
That is usually the simplest route. Tell us the domain name and which provider holds it. Where possible, Haymaker will use delegated or authorised access to connect the finished site without asking you to hand over passwords.
Your existing domain remains yours and under your control.
Don’t have a domain?
You have two choices. You can buy one yourself, or choose Haymaker Domain Setup and let us handle it.
If you choose Haymaker Domain Setup, we can:
- help identify a sensible domain name for the business
- check likely options and extensions
- show you the proposed domain and registration cost before purchase
- arrange the registration on behalf of your business
- configure the technical DNS settings
- connect the domain to your Haymaker website
- provide reasonable transfer or account-control information so you can take direct control
What we will not do
Haymaker will not deliberately hold a client domain as leverage, hide its registration details or force you to stay with Haymaker to keep using your website address.
We also will not buy a domain without your approval. Domain availability and registrar prices can change until the registration is actually completed.
What you still need to decide
We may ask you to approve a proposed domain name and tell us whether you want a business email address such as hello@yourbusiness.co.uk. You do not need to understand DNS, SSL or Cloudflare to make those decisions.
Registration and renewal costs
The £29.99 Domain Setup fee covers Haymaker’s setup work. The actual registration price is charged separately at the cost confirmed before purchase. Future renewal charges are also separate unless a written quote specifically says otherwise.
Different domain extensions can have different registration and renewal prices. Registry and registrar transfer rules may sometimes limit how quickly a newly registered domain can be moved between accounts or providers.
The simple version
You tell us the business name. We help sort the web address, build the website and connect everything.
That is the Haymaker approach: you should not need to become a web technician just to get your business online.
