Privacy
Privacy information
Haymaker Websites only asks for information needed to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, deliver agreed work, keep necessary business records and provide support.
Who is responsible for your information?
Haymaker Websites is the trading name used by Simon Hay for this service. For privacy enquiries, email hello@haymakerwebsites.com.
Information collected
The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, business name, package interest and a short summary of what your business needs. If you become a client, Haymaker may also need business contact details, project information, supplied website content, invoices, payment records, domain details and authorised-user access information.
Do not send passwords, private account credentials or sensitive personal information through the enquiry form or ordinary email.
Why the information is used
Enquiry details are used to reply to you, assess whether the Haymaker service is a good fit, take steps requested before entering a contract and prepare a quote. Client information is used to deliver the agreed service, communicate about the project, provide hosting or support where selected and maintain appropriate business and accounting records.
Haymaker does not sell enquiry or client information.
Email and technology providers
The website is hosted using Cloudflare Pages. Enquiry emails and automatic acknowledgements are delivered using Resend. Cloudflare security services and Turnstile may be used to protect forms from abuse and spam. These providers process limited technical or contact information where necessary to provide their services.
Analytics and cookies
Haymaker prefers privacy-conscious aggregate analytics such as Cloudflare Web Analytics. Advertising pixels, session replay and remarketing trackers are not added by default. If non-essential cookies or similar technologies are introduced, the website's cookie information and consent controls will be updated before they are used.
How long information is kept
Unsuccessful or inactive enquiry information is normally deleted or anonymised within 12 months unless there is a reason to retain it for an active discussion or legal issue. Accepted client, contract, invoice and payment records may be kept for longer where needed for accounting, tax, contractual or legal record-keeping requirements.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing or objection to certain uses. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent.
Contact hello@haymakerwebsites.com to make a privacy request.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how personal information has been handled, contact Haymaker first so the issue can be reviewed. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Client websites
Haymaker clients remain responsible for deciding what privacy notices, cookie information, consent mechanisms and industry-specific wording their own businesses require. Haymaker can implement agreed wording and standard technical measures but does not act as the client's legal adviser.
Soft-launch waiting list
The waiting-list form prepares an email on your device. It does not submit your answers to this website or store them in your browser. You must send the prepared message from your own email app. Once received, we use it to respond to your requirements and send the launch update you requested. We do not add you to unrelated marketing. Email hello@haymakerwebsites.com to withdraw your request or ask us to delete your waiting-list details.
